Day 1: Arrival and Sundarban Adventure
Welcome to the Sundarban Tiger Reserve, the largest mangrove forest in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. Your journey begins at 8:00 AM from Esplanade (near K.C. Das Confectionery). Enjoy refreshments and a short tea break en route. Upon arrival at Godkhali Jetty, you’ll board a boat and head to the resort, traveling through the scenic rivers Gomor, Durgadhwani, and Pitchkhali.
A hot lunch will be served at the resort, after which you’ll visit Bird’s Island and Sunset Point. In the evening, unwind with tea and snacks, followed by a mesmerizing Adivasi Jhumur dance performance by local tribal artists. Dinner will be served at 9:00 PM.
Day 2: Jungle Safari and Departure
Wake up early at 6:00 AM and enjoy a hot tea served in your room. At 7:00 AM, report at Jetty Ghat for an exciting river cruise. You’ll explore Sajnekhali Watchtower and the Mangrove Interpretation Centre, followed by a deep jungle safari through creeks and rivers, including Sarakkhali 1, Sudhanyakhali, Bonbibi Bharani, Sunderkhali, Pirkhali, Dobanki, and Panchmukhani. Be on the lookout for wildlife such as deer, water monitor lizards, monkeys, crocodiles, wild boars, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. Lunch will be served on the boat. After lunch, you will return to Godkhali and then head back to Kolkata.

Your journey begins at 8:00 AM, with a reporting time of 7:30 AM at Esplanade, near K.C. Das Confectionery. Refreshments will be provided during the drive, with a brief tea break along the way.
Upon arrival at Godkhali Jetty, you will board a boat and travel through the scenic rivers Gomor and Durgadhwani, eventually entering the Pitchkhali River. Our resort, Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort, is located on the riverbank, offering stunning views of the Sundarban Tiger Reserve.
A hot lunch will be served at the resort. Afterward, you’ll embark on a trip to Bird’s Island and Sunset Point, returning to the resort by evening.
Enjoy evening tea and snacks, followed by a captivating Adivasi Jhumur dance performance by the local tribal community of Sundarbans.
Dinner will be served at 9:00 PM.
After breakfast at 7:00 AM, report to Jetty Ghat by 8:00 AM for an exciting cruise towards the Sajnekhali Watchtower and Mangrove Interpretation Centre. From there, you will embark on a deep jungle safari, navigating through creeks, dense forests, and numerous rivers, including Sarakkhali, Sudhanyakhali, Bonbibi Bharani, Sunderkhali, and Pirkhali. Along the way, you may spot wildlife such as deer, water monitor lizards, monkeys, wild boars, crocodiles, and, with some luck, the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger. Lunch will be served on the boat or back at the resort.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through a native village in Sundarban, where you’ll witness the local lifestyle, crafts, cuisines, and traditions. After the village visit, you will be transferred back to Kolkata.
